James Adler Mentoring Scheme 2026 launched

UKELA is delighted to open applications for the 2026 mentoring scheme. The programme is designed to provide meaningful experience and insight into environmental law for individuals from under-represented backgrounds.

Placements are available from September 2026 to March 2027, each offering six months of mentoring plus five days of flexible, hands-on experience. Financial support of up to £250 is available.

We are proud to be working with a growing number of organisations, including the Environment Agency, Environmental Standards Scotland (ESS), the Office of Environmental Protection (OEP), Natural England, Town Legal, and Francis Taylor Building (FTB), with more to be announced. Apply by midnight, Sunday 21 June.
