Welcome to Law and Your Environment, the plain guide to Environmental Law, mainly covering England, Scotland and Wales. Have you got an environmental problem? You can get help here. The kind of problems covered are: fly tipping; noisy neighbours; graffiti; litter; dog mess; pollution; planning; wildlife; rights of way. We've also just added new pages on the marine environment. You can find out where to go for help, who the regulator is and how to approach them, how the legal system works, and follow links to the original laws.
We aim to improve access to environmental law information and empower more people to participate in environmental matters. So you can also find out how to do your bit for the environment: you have rights but also responsibilities.
Has this website been helpful? Would you like to post a case you've been involved with? We'd like to know more about you and your needs. Please visit the Have Your Say page.
