Climate Change
The earth’s climate constantly changes due to natural causes. Human activities also contribute significantly to changes in the climate. Since the mid - twentieth century, there have been noticeable increases in global temperature.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) attributes these changes largely to man-made greenhouse emissions. The IPCC was set up by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organisation. It is the leading authority on global climate change.
This section provides information on climate change, its causes and its effects. It examines the law relating to climate change and actions aimed at reducing green gas emissions. It also offers useful information on the actions you can take to curb climate change.
