How does the site navigation work?

You can navigate the website in different ways, but the primary navigation tools are provided on the top or at the left side of your screen. The site map also allows you to view the website structure at a glance. Clicking on the Home button will take you back to the main page.

The website is set up to allow users to search for:

A general search tool is also provided at the top right of the Home page. There are also specific search tools for easy access to Legislation, Cases and Find a Regulator. About this site offers helpful information on what the site aims to do as well as providing information on where to get help if you can't find the information you are looking for.

I live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales and Law and Your Environment hasn't got much information about these regions. How can I find out more?

This site is in the process of development and we plan to add information for all the devolved regions of the UK in due course, subject to funding being secured. In the meantime you can read more about environmental law and devolution here.
